Hakataramea Catchment Map Series

The Hakataramea Catchment Map Series provides an overview of the current known state of our catchment, including climate, topography, geology, vegetation (past and present), soil types, water quality, and ecology.

The data comes from national and regional datasets and blends modelled information with site-specific survey data. The map series is designed to be a starting point to help us better understand our catchment and inform future catchment enhancement projects.

A limited number of the 87-page map series books are available to land managers within the catchment who are members of HSC. For more information please contact info@hakatarameasc.co.nz. Note that the map series is not available digitally.
