In 2022, the Hakataramea Sustainability Collective (HSC) commissioned Irricon Resource Solutions Ltd to carry out a review of literature related to the Hakataramea Catchment to understand the background state of the environment, risks and pressures that the catchment is facing and any knowledge gaps that may exist.
